Carolyn Staples - Owner – Waxologist
Carolyn is the owner and operator of OC Waxing & Aesthetics. Born and raised in Mission Viejo, Carolyn has been a part of the Southern Orange County community her entire life. After playing club and collegiate soccer, then working in the dental field, she decided it was time to take the plunge and follow her passion: beauty, skin care and waxing!
“I have been getting waxed for years and one thing has always been consistent: there is a shortage of exceptional, sanitary, passionate waxers out there. I’ve always searched for a great waxer who provides a great service, and I never felt like I found “my girl”. Clients should feel comfortable and confident in their waxer because they are such an important part of your life. That’s the whole reason I opened OC Waxing. I want every client to feel they had the best waxing experience with someone they know and trust. I want every client who walks through my doors to feel like they found “their girl”.
Carolyn resides right here in Mission Viejo with her schnoodle, Theodore. Her secret obsession is Unsolved Mysteries and she just can’t seem to live without Del Taco.
Cami Phillips – Waxologist
Cami Phillips was born and raised in beautiful Southern California and has worked and resided here in South County for her entire life.
“I feel so blessed to call Orange County home. Most people would kill to vacation here! I love to work hard to then play hard. Balance is the key to life for me.”
As a licensed Aesthetician for 9 years, Cami is certain that she has truly found her passion. Cami entered into the dynamic world of Aesthetics with a purpose: to help men and women of all ages feel and look their absolute best! In addition to years of spa experience, Cami has dabbled in every area of Aesthetics from teaching skin care to being a sales rep for aesthetic equipment.
Cami lives in Laguna Hills with her son Nick and her bull mastiff, Diesel, her cat named Jerk and the newest addition- Sherman. She secretly wishes she was a Kardashian and has an affinity for Guiness.
Cristina Gaffoglio - Waxologist
Cristina was born and raised right here in Southern Orange County. She has been a licensed aesthetician for 5 years and has always had a passion for waxing.
“Working at OC Waxing is truly a dream come true, I absolutely love what I do. My goal is to make my clients feel comfortable and confident during and after their waxing. This is an intimate service we offer our community, and I am confident and excited to be a part of the best waxing salon in Orange County” Cristina is a dynamic Waxologist with extraordinary experience in Brazilians bikini waxing and eyebrow shaping.
Cristina is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree at Brandman University, and in her free time she loves going out to new restaurants, doing Pilates and can’t resist a good glass of wine.
Pia Rotman - Waxologist
Pia Rotman is a highly accomplished veteran in the field of beauty and wellness. She has worked at renowned spas in Maui, Hawaii and San Diego, and is now elated to call Orange County, and OC Waxing, home!
Pia’s appreciation for her craft lies in multiple dimensions – she loves helping her clients look their best, and finds great satisfaction in enhancing their inner well-being through her expertise in holistic lifestyle guidance. In addition to being a waxing expert, Pia is trained in a variety of aesthetic services including eyelash extension, spray-tanning, and permanent cosmetics.
“I am very passionate about making a positive difference in my clients’ lives. I consistently treat my clients with the utmost care, respect, & attention. My intention is always to assist them in their health and beauty goals. I am so excited to call OC Waxing home!”
In addition to her aesthetic talents, Pia is also a licensed yoga instructor. She resides here in Orange County with her wonderful husband, Jason and 2 beautiful daughters.
Brie Toye – Waxologist
Brie Toye is an experienced Aesthetician with a fierce passion for waxing. Originally from Philadelphia, Brie moved out to Orange County all by herself and has enjoyed every minute of it!
“I continue to specialize in waxing because I feel it is the most gratifying aspect of the beauty industry. I love making every client feel comfortable and building awesome and lasting personal relationships.”
Brie currently resides in Carlsbad with her addorable doggie. She loves being active snowboarding and a good glass of wine.
Kaitlyn Marmaduke – Salon Coordinator
Kaitlyn grew up in Mission Viejo and been involved in the beauty industry for several years. She worked at Honolulu’s top waxing salon for two years while receiving her BA in Communications from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Since then, Kaitlyn has pursued her passion and is currently working towards a career in the specialty salon environment.
“Working in this industry is so exciting and intriguing. I absolutely love the art of hair, skin, and nail care and it is always a rewarding experience when you see clients leave feeling better then when they came in”. Kaitlyn hopes to provide knowledge and education about waxing and esthetics to everyone and it is her goal to make every client’s experience worth-while.
In her free time Kaitlyn enjoys being outdoors, exploring new places and spending time with her family.
